Almond Shortbread
1/2 pound butter
3/4 C confectioner's sugar
2 C flour
1 C ground almonds
1 t vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Cream the butter, add the remaining ingredients and mix throughly.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick, cut into desired shapes. Prick each cookie
with a fork, bake 12 - 15 minutes or until just browned on the edges.
