Coconut Glazed Bananas
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Hawaiian Plantations Coconut Syrup
1 Tbl rum
juice of 1/2 small lime
3 firm bananas, peeled and cut length wise
2 Tbl toasted shredded coconut
Directions:
Combine coconut syrup, rum, and lime juice in a skillet; bring to
boil, reduce heat and simmer. Arrange bananas in skillet. Simmer
4 to 5 minutes, or until bananas are nicely glazed. Turn bananas
over frequently. Serve hot and sprinkle with toasted shredded coconut.
Yield: 6 servings
