Beef Stroganoff
1 to 2 lb sirloin tip, round tip, or round steak cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons oil
Brown meat in oil. Add the following and simmer for 45 min to an
hour. If you use round steak, go for the hour.
3 beef bouillon cubes
1-1/4 cup hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons catsup
1 teaspoon mustard (dry or regular)
The liquid should reduce to about 1/3 cup during simmering. Then combine:
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup cold water
Stir into meat and heat until boiling. Reduce heat and add: 1/2 to 1 cup sour cream
Serve over noodles.
